Transnet Young Professional-in-Training Program
About the Program
Transnet Rail Infrastructure (TRIM) invites driven and unemployed South African graduates aged 18–35 to join our two-year Young Professional-in-Training program. This structured initiative combines institutional knowledge and hands-on experience to enhance employability. Participants will receive mentorship, structured training, and performance reviews every six months to align personal and organizational goals. Eligible candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree/BTech (NQF 6 or higher) from a DHET-registered university or university of technology, with no prior work experience in their field of study.
Position Outputs
Candidates will participate in a 24-month rotation across TRIM departments, gaining exposure to operational workflows, mentorship, and tailored development activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) or Industrial Psychology.
- South African citizenship.
- No prior work experience required. Successful applicants will be placed in TRIM Depots/Departments post-recruitment.
