JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Warehouse Picker to start working ASAP. Empact Group requires the services of reputable Warehouse Picker. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;

  • Must have Matric
  • Must have 2-3 years’ previous experience in a warehouse.
  • Must be Computer literate.
  • Must have Valid Driver’s License

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:  

The applicant must have the following skills and competences

  • Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must have understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
  • Must have high level of accuracy.
  • Must have familiarity with hand-held scanning devices and lifting equipment certificate.
  • Must have physical strength and stamina.
  • Must have attention to detail.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:

  • To pick orders as requested by management.
  • To pack incoming stock away, taking inventory and reporting shortages.
  • To ensure correct information is attached and moving completed orders to delivery area.
  • To keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • To assist with appropriated wrapping, and securing with stretch wrap, shrink wrap and strapping.
  • Loading and unloading trucks.
  • To ensure work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organized.
  • To comply with Occupational Health and Safety and other safety regulations.
