Job Purpose- To guarantee that every company operating within the Council’s registration scope is registered and obeys all NBCCI agreements promulgated by the Minister of Employment and Labour under the Labour Relations Act (LRA).

- Promote, monitor & enforce adherence to all Collective Agreements by probing, researching and deciding jurisdiction for firms in the Council’s registered scope; open cases when firms refuse to register.
- Interpret every clause of the Collective Agreements to enforce Council Agreements and issue Compliance Orders to non‑compliant businesses.
- Calculate amounts owed to the Council due to non‑compliance, mediate disputes and issue outcome certificates for unresolved cases referred to Arbitration.
- Perform comprehensive inspections (full, logbook, educational & demarcation) and produce inspection findings reports.
- Explain inspection reports to stakeholders to prevent future non‑compliance.
- Handle complainant cases, decide investigation methods and ensure quality investigations are completed within prescribed timeframes.
- Respond to enquiries about the Council’s role, collective agreements and related legislation.
- Lead enforcement cases referred to Arbitration and secure successful prosecution.
- Distribute circulars and marketing material during company visits to position the NBCCI as a valued partner.
- Prepare and submit weekly activity reports.
- Plan and organise daily, weekly & monthly enforcement activities.
- Perform perception surveys with stakeholders.
- Negotiate, draft & sign settlement agreements and submit them for arbitration approval.
- Manage cost centre items.
- Resolve disputes, arbitration, litigation, returns & membership queries for allocated companies.
- Execute legal documents (compliance orders, notice of arbitration, writ of execution, etc.).
- Train HR practitioners on the Council online system and agreements.
- Scrutinize exception reports and issue compliance orders.
- Address mass employee gatherings on agreements & compliance.
- Build stakeholder relationships in an objective & fair manner.
- Uphold the NBCCI image and reputation.
