Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker to perform a wide range of fabrication, repair, installation, and maintenance tasks on plant and mining structures. The role demands a hands‑on professional who can operate in a fast‑paced industrial environment and contribute to safe, efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform precise fabrication, welding, cutting, and assembly of metal components and structures.

- Conduct comprehensive repairs and maintenance on mining equipment and associated plant machinery to ensure optimal performance.

- Interpret and apply technical drawings and specifications to guide fabrication and installation work.

- Provide strong support during project execution and scheduled shutdown activities, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

- Uphold rigorous safety and housekeeping practices, fostering a culture of accident‑free operations and compliance with industry regulations.

- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and recommending improvements to enhance productivity and safety.

- Participate in continuous skills development and training programs to stay updated with industry best practices.

- Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to align boilermaking activities with overall project objectives.

Requirements

- Boilermaker Trade Test certificate (or equivalent recognised qualification).

- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in mining or industrial environments, with proven competence in boilermaking tasks.

- Medically fit for duty and capable of performing physically demanding tasks in varied work conditions.

- Ability to work effectively in teams and independently with minimal supervision.

- Valid certification in safety procedures (e.g., OSHA or equivalent) is advantageous.

- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
