The Department of Social Development, Western Cape Government, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Administration Clerk to join our team and provide administrative support services to persons with disabilities. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient delivery of services to our clients.
Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support services, including general clerical support, supply chain management, personnel administration, and financial administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Render general clerical support services, including data capture, filing, and record-keeping
- Provide supply chain clerical support services, including procurement and inventory management
- Provide personnel administration clerical support services, including leave management and employee records
- Provide financial administration support services, including budgeting, accounting, and reporting
- Respond to client inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient service delivery
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification)
- Relevant experience in administration or a related field
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
