📜 JOB OVERVIEW
Spy Group Holdings is seeking a highly skilled, Red‑Seal qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team in Witbank. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy‑duty machinery used in our mining and aggregate operations, ensuring maximum uptime and safety on site.

🔑 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform comprehensive mechanical repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance on a range of heavy‑duty equipment, including:
    - Screen Crushers
    - Mobile Crushers
    - Front‑End Loaders
    - Company vehicles and transport units
- Diagnose, fault‑find, and resolve complex mechanical and hydraulic issues efficiently to minimise equipment downtime.
- Attend emergency breakdowns and call‑outs, working swiftly to restore operations.
- Work independently, managing time, priorities, and job execution to meet production schedules.
- Uphold the highest standards of workmanship, safety compliance, and housekeeping in all tasks.
- Take full ownership of assigned equipment, ensuring continuous reliability and performance.
- Be available for standby duty as required by operational needs.


📋 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (NON‑NEGOTIABLE)
- Valid Red Seal Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate (proof required).
- Valid driver’s licence suitable for operating company vehicles.
- South African citizen.
- Medically certified fit for heavy‑industry work (medical certificate may be required).
- Reside in Witbank or surrounding areas.
- Immediate availability for employment.
- Must supply own set of mechanical tools for daily tasks.
