KEY PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE 🎯

As a Community Manager, you will act as the face and voice of our brand, managing and nurturing online communities through consistent, professional, and engaging two-way communication. You'll drive brand loyalty, positive sentiment, and meaningful consumer engagement across digital platforms.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 📋

- Manage day-to-day community engagement across social media platforms.

- Create, schedule, and publish social media content.

- Monitor brand mentions, keywords, and conversations.

- Manage and execute online competitions, giveaways, and interactive community initiatives.

- Support social media campaigns and events.

- Track and report on community engagement metrics.

- Maintain accurate engagement logs and documentation.


KEY ATTRIBUTES & COMPETENCIES 💪

- Strong understanding of social media platforms and online communities.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

- High attention to detail with strong execution discipline.

- Analytical thinking with the ability to track and interpret community KPIs.

- Ability to perform under pressure and adapt quickly in a fast-paced digital environment.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 📚

- Matric Higher Certificate, Diploma, or relevant tertiary qualification or certification.

- BSc Degree in Marketing or a related field (advantageous).

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in community management or a closely related role.

- Proven experience managing online communities and social media platforms.
