Medirite Moreleta Park is seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic) to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will assist the pharmacist with dispensing and performing pharmacy-related administrative duties, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our pharmacy.

JOB DETAILS 📝

- Job Title: Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic)

- Location: Moreleta Park, Gauteng, South Africa

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 📋

- Stock control: Manage and maintain accurate stock levels, including ordering and receiving stock.

- Dispensing: Assist the pharmacist with dispensing medication, ensuring accuracy and adherence to pharmacy protocols.

- Administration: Perform administrative tasks, including data capture, record-keeping, and communication with patients and healthcare professionals.

- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

- Frontshop service: Provide excellent customer service, answering queries, and promoting products and services.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 📚

- Essential: Qualified as a Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant and registered with the South African Pharmacy Council.

- 2 years+ experience working in a similar role.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

- Customer service orientated.

- Dispensing knowledge.

- Knowledge of dispensing systems and ordering systems.

- Desirable: Knowledge of Retail/FMCG operations.
