We’re looking for dynamic, skilled individuals to partner with us in open‑pit mining operations. ASB Minerals offers competitive remuneration and benefits for the following positions:
1. Pit Foreman
- Matric + competency A / legal liability.
- Fluent English & basic Afrikaans.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in open‑pit or civil mining.
- Proven ability to manage heavy equipment & ensure safety in an open‑pit environment.
- Responsibility for supervising teams & equipment.
2. Pit Supervisor
- Matric + competency A / legal liability.
- Strong English communication.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in open‑pit or civil mining.
- Experience handling open‑pit equipment & ensuring team safety.
- Oversees an area of responsibility.
3. Excavator Operator
- Grade 10 + valid Excavator license.
- English communication skills.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating excavators in mining or civil construction.
- Working knowledge of open‑cast operations.
4. Dozer Operator
- Grade 10 + valid Dozer license.
- Good English communication.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a dozer operator in mining/construction.
- Familiarity with open‑cast mining operations.
5. Multi‑Skilled Operator (ADT, Excavator, Dozer, Diesel & Water Bowers)
- Grade 10 + relevant certificates.
- English communication.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a multi‑skilled operator.
- Working knowledge of open‑cast mining & construction operations.
6. Grader Operator
- Grade 10 + valid Grader license.
- English communication skills.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating graders in mining/construction.
- Open‑cast mining work knowledge.
7. ADT Operator
- Grade 10 + valid ADT license.
- English (or official language) communication.
- Minimum 3 years’ ADT experience in mining/construction.
- Knowledge of open‑cast operations.
8. Diesel Truck Operator
- Grade 10 + valid Diesel Truck license.
- English communication.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience driving diesel trucks in mining.
- Open‑cast mining operational knowledge.
9. Water Truck Operator
- Grade 10 + valid Water Truck license.
- English communication.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating water trucks.
- Experience in open‑cast mining environments.
10. TLB Operator
- Grade 10 + valid TLB license.
- English communication.
- Minimum 3 years’ TLB experience in mining/construction.
- Working knowledge of open‑cast operations.
