📋 Key Responsibilities (Detailed Scope of Duties)

- Employee Records & Attendance Management: Maintain meticulous, accurate, and up‑to‑date employee records, attendance systems, and related HR databases; ensure compliance with data‑protection policies.

- Recruitment, Onboarding & Contract Administration: Assist in full recruitment cycles, from vacancy advertising to selection; manage onboarding processes including contract preparation, orientation programs, and induction documentation.

- Disciplinary & Hearing Support: Provide administrative and procedural support for warnings, disciplinary hearings, and grievance processes; ensure adherence to labour‑law requirements and internal policies.

- Payroll & Time‑keeping Administration: Distribute and manage clock‑card data, oversee savings‑payout calculations, and liaise with payroll department for accurate processing.

- Staff Grievances & HR Queries: Serve as the primary point of contact for staff grievances and HR inquiries across all facilities; resolve issues efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

- Roster & Event Planning: Assist in the design and implementation of staff rosters, HR events, and administrative projects; coordinate logistics and resources for successful execution.

- Travel & Branch Support: Travel to various company branches as required to deliver HR assistance, conduct site audits, and ensure uniform HR practices across the organisation.

- Compliance & Reporting: Prepare HR reports, track KPI metrics, and ensure all activities align with South African labour legislation and company standards.

What You Need (Essential Qualifications & Attributes)

- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of HR or administrative experience in a similar role, preferably within a multi‑site environment.

- Skills: Strong communication (written & verbal) and exceptional organisational abilities; proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Knowledge: Solid understanding of HR processes, labour law basics, and best practices in employee relations specific to the South African context.

- Professionalism: Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, integrity, and professionalism at all times.

- Mobility: Valid driver’s licence (preferred) for travel between company branches and sites.

- Language: Bilingual proficiency in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written) to serve a diverse workforce effectively.
