- Job Type: Full-Time

ROLE PURPOSE 🎯
The purpose of this job is to assist the Mechanic in the daily operations and maintenance of equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 📚
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Available immediately
- Experience in an Opencast mining environment
- At least 2 years' experience in Engineering/Mechanical field and in an Opencast Mining environment
- Medically Fit

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 📋
- Ensuring that all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to for the specific job
- Meeting and maintaining performance and other Key Performance Indicator criteria specific to each job
- Assist the mechanic in daily tasks
- Ensure that housekeeping is adhered to
- Be accountable for safety and environmental procedures
- Be willing to work extended hours and take up standby duties
