JOB DETAILS 📝
- Job Location: Boquinar Industrial Area, Western Cape
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Application Closing Date: 28 February 2026
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (occasional overtime may be required)
- Salary: Competitive package, commensurate with experience
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 📚
- Matric certificate or equivalent
- Experience as General Assistant, General Clerk, General Worker, Picker, Machine Operator, Forklift, Forklift Operator, or Warehouse Worker
- Valid driver's license (for forklift operations)
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES 💪
- Must live within 25km from job location
- Clear criminal record
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of warehouse operations
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 📋
- Ensure housekeeping of yard and all equipment
- Store all equipment safely in the yard
- Remove equipment from other companies stored in the warehouse and prepare it for return
- Follow instructions from Operations Management to meet or exceed accuracy and productivity goals
- Safely operate heavy equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and flatbed carts to avoid injuries or damage
- Count all equipment daily to keep track of stock
- Ensure the required equipment is always available so that work is not delayed
- Check all equipment before and after use to ensure it is in good condition
- Protect company equipment and make sure it is secure
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Complete any other tasks related to equipment as assigned by Operations
